Warranty Change
Varis is making changes to its warranty.

Product shipped in 2010 will be the last to carry Varis’ 2-year Unlimited warranty.

Varis' warranty period remains two years, however it limits coverage to defects in material and workmanship. Electrical surge, water, impact damage etc. will no longer be covered.

Summary Study of Underground Communications Technologies

The final project report from the CANMET Mining and Mineral Sciences Laboratories. The main objective of this project was to inventory and briefly evaluate underground communications technologies as well as related technologies and make the information available to the mining industry.

Varis is the smart choice in West Virginia
Varis' Smart Com IS Leaky Feeder system is the only mining communication network to receive unconditional approval from the West Virginia Communications-Tracking task force. Varis' Smart Tag Resource Tracking system received conditional approval that will be upgraded to unconditional approval when its MSHA certification is complete this month.
